This saturday I went to the Fiddler in The Hague. This is a bar that has it’s own in-house brewery where they make a couple of british-style ales. The mood was quite good, and around 9 the place was really filling up nicely. A couple of friends (twins) were having a birthday party there, and our group was rapidly growing as the evening went on, completly blocking passage to the other visitors. This webpage describes the Fiddler and it’s history. The music was decent and the prices are acceptable, especially when compared to Amsterdam, which is where I usually go for my drinks. I didn’t get a change to taste the ales, as I was the designated driver of the evening.. maybe next time.
